#2-Kate turns 8!
An 8th Birthday is something to smile about...

#3-The Golf season begins! A much anticipated event every year at this house.
A new set of clubs. We've out grown our pee-wee set.
Nothing tops a day on the course for this man. This is not the best picture. I need to follow him around one day and get some better ones.

#7 Birthday Bash at Fat Cats
Our family loves to go to Fat Cats for some cheap birthday entertainment. This particular trip was Spencer's birthday and many of the "big kids" came to join us.

#8-A favorite every year, Christmas!
This year holds a special story: The Umbrell children recieve three gifts from Santa to symbolize the three gifts the Wise Men brought to Jesus. The kids decide what to write Santa for and Mom and Dad approve the list before it is sent. This year Spencer wanted something big, and pricey. We told him that his item didn't meet approval. One day I over heard a conversation between Kate and Spencer. Kate decided to write to Santa and only ask for one gift this year if he would please bring Spencer his electric scooter. Spencer in return would let Kate ride his scooter. I was glad I got to over hear the conversation. It is always great to see the kids put teachings into action.
Spencer let everyone help unwrap...
