Looking Back On 2010 Batch 1

2010 holds a lot of good memories. I tried to capture them all on film. I got so behind at posting pictures this year, so in an attempt to finish up my blog journal a vast array of photos will be coming. Here are some random shots.

One of the greatest things that happened this year is Man With A Drill got a Mac ---SAWEET!

At every family party Seth is the Entertainer! A party isn't a party without Uncle Seppy! Even Baylee gets a kick out of watching.
One Sunday during a family party, I found Spencer out on the patio sitting on a chair with a horribly long sad face. "What's wrong Spence," I carefully asked.
"Seth won't play with me." he groaned. This was about the time Haley entered our family. I told Spencer I'd have a talk with Seth. Then I went inside. I had no more walked in the back door when Corbin came over to me crying. "What's wrong buddy," I asked. That's when Corbin went into a tangent about how Seth wouldn't play with him either. "All he does is sit on the couch next to Haley grandma," was his response. It took everything I had to keep from laughing. After hearing such sorrowful stories, I went over and told Seth there was going to be a mass lynching if he didn't get up off the couch and go play with two little boys.

The 3 kid piggy back ride!

Big Ben in the background.

Nothing like In House Dentistry!

Where all my money goes!

I love it when I take a picture and it comes out of the camera like I know what I'm doing!

Who is this little masked man? Beeno! He loves to ride the motorbike over to Grannies with his dad!

When I look at my life and I want to feel a deep sense of accomplishment, a feeling that tells me my life has truly meant something, I look at my children!

Love my girls!
Love my boys!

The artist.

The cutest kids ever and one cute dog.

Doesn't matter if the family ever gets boring,

Goose owns an iPhone. No one can ever get bored with an iPhone!

Beeno learned to ride his bike this past year.

Grandpa! The best role to play!

Always dinner time at the Crow's nest.

This year Kate got baptized. Beautiful family!

And Emy ventured into being a dog owner with puppies.

Pretty girls!

Man With A Drill sometimes becomes Man with a grill! We love the grill over the drill!

Everyone loved playing with Em's puppies.

2010 is the year Haley came into our lives. Oh happy day!

The mighty hunter. Do we have to eat that Goose?

Summer was so much fun with Gavin's aeronautics! How many little boys at heart does it take to fly one small aircraft?

Cute audience.

And then there were all of the fun times at the beach. More of those pictures coming.

You can always find Man With A Drill in his recliner on the front deck of the cabin. Usually with a book!

Desi reads wherever she goes!

This year I got some good nature shots.

And I haven't even posted all the Lake Powell pictures yet.  Below Seth is sporting my swim cap. You look cute in pink Seth!

Des designed all the T-Shirts for Fremont this year.

Sisters and Best Friends too.

I've said for years how I couldn't wait to have a grandchild live close enough to ride their bike over to my house. Well, that day has arrived. Love having the grandkiddies close by!

More great shots at the lake.

Like father like son. Lorin started the ugly blue one piece jumpsuit fad. Now Man With A Drill can't live without his fashion statement and I'm not sure but I think Gage is forming an affection for the look. It's a Crow thing!

Starting to plant some trees at the cabin. Praying they live.

HOMECOMING WEEK: Des designed and painted the field.

Homecoming was a week full of festivities, starting with the running of the torch.

And the kids loved the parade.

Who doesn't?

Thumbs up from Des.

You look cute on that float Desi.

Then there was the caveman theme at the pep rally.

Des gets her love for acting from her mother I think.

The pep rally ended with a huge bon fire.

Des was up for Homecoming Queen and look at what a handsome escort she landed.

Priceless!

I don't know how I got this picture, but it's a keeper.  Des you are a beautiful young lady, inside and out! I'm so proud of you!

All the girls are going to want a date with you Corbin!

The expression on Corbin's face is worth a million bucks in this picture. When the announcer started telling everyone all about Deserey. Corbin looked up at her and couldn't stop grinning. Well, he did ask Kaedell if Deserey was a princess.

The homecoming game started with lights and sirens flashing. Des got to ride around the track in style.

I told her the only time I get to ride in a police car is when they haul me off for speeding.

Then there was the coin toss on the field.

Des did the flipping.

and finally it was half time and all the candidates came out.

No matter what . . . your a winner Des!

Man With A Drill was one very proud escort!

It's been a long time since he had a date that cute!

And when Des didn't win she consoled Man With A Drill all the way off the field. "It's ok dad, really, don't feel so bad, I really didn't care if I won or not, really dad really!"  She patted Man with A Drill all the way out of the stadium. And a side note here, the girl who did win was such a sweetheart. Everyone was so happy for her, well, except for maybe Man With A Drill. Hahahaha

My mom is nearly 90. She is the incredible shrinking woman! She eats like a bird and is as light as a feather. She comes to our house often for Sunday dinner. Gage decided one Sunday it was just easier to carry her.  Now my boys scoop her up and pack her anywhere they want to take her. You should hear my mom squeal.

Somehow Gavin I can see you 60 years from now!

"A photo is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.

What you have caught on film is captured forever . . .

it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."

This last picture holds a lot of emotion for me. I have the exact same picture of Gavin sitting and talking to my dad. It was the first time Gavin saw my dad at the rest home after returning home from his 2 year mission. Someday when my mom is gone. I will take both pictures and frame them together for Gavin.
