Gonna Rise

Gonna Rise from Faye Crowther on Vimeo.

A few months ago someone put a flower on Glade's grave. It had a balloon on it. When I pulled into the cemetery, I was sad to see the cold evening air had left the balloon that was tied to the flower, lying on the ground. I left the cemetery feeling sad. The next morning I drove back to the cemetery to get a better look at the flower and possibly see who had left it. The sun was shining now, and I was amazed that the heat from the sun's rays had made the balloon rise. As I pulled in it was floating beautifully in the warmth of the morning light. It was then that I felt a strong impression fill me, "The heat will make you rise!" On Christmas Eve I presented this spiritual message to my kids. "We've got to allow the heat to make us rise. We must rise up to meet dad in all we do."
It is our second Christmas without him! It is so hard! We miss him so bad!!! I miss him so bad. In the heat of our trial though, we're gonna' rise up! In the face of our intense fire.... we will rise to meet him!
George Foster said "Our character is being forged on the anvil of the difficult experiences we are now facing. We know however, that if we remain committed to God's purposes for us, we will be prepared to face the future." "We can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us." (Philippians 4:13)
"And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up." D&C 84:88

He is our angel now, through the tender mercy of our Savior, and we do feel him with us, bearing us up! We Love you Glade! Happy Christmas to all.
