Happy Father's Day
I had to drag him outside after church. He wasn't sure about it, but one thing this man has learned over the years, is that when his wife gets an idea, no sense fighting it.
"I'm taking your picture!" I said. I told him I take a million pictures and I am tired of the usual blue one piece jump suit look on you! I said, "Honey, I'm taking a nice picture of you." So he complied.
It took him a while to relax and get into it, but by the 20th shot, he was getting the hang of it. LOL!!! Well, I do like to take more than one.
My sentiments today.... It's Father's Day, and this is MY MAN! Father of MY CHILDREN! He is man with a drill! He is man with a smile, man with a happy nature, man with a soft and gentle heart, man who loves to cook, fish, read, and and spend time with his family. He is pretty easy to get a long with, unless I'm trying to make him exercise and eat right. He is a man with lots of integrity. He's honest and good clear through. And probably one thing that has impressed me over the years is his honesty in his work. There are a lot of Dentists who will tell you, you need stuff in your mouth, you don't really need. They just want more cash in thier wallets, which is why they tell you, you need it. My man NEVER does this. He gives people options, and costs, and terms of how long it will last. I love him for it. It feels good to know he has always been a man who cares deeply about people, regardless of how long or how well he's known them! He's just a good honest guy!
He's thinning on top, but I look at this photo and he is the most handsome guy I know! The photo evokes a lot of emotion in me. We've raised 8 kids together, we've had our triumphs and we've seen dark days. We have traversed our share of mountains, climbed to places we never thought we'd get to, been up and over our share of obstacles. And here we our, 35 years of marriage and at heart, we are still soul mates! Oh we can butt heads, but under any currant runs a bond of love iron clad! I love this man! He is the best choice I ever made. And when it comes to choosing a father for my children, well, bar none, I picked the best. Besides being the best husband for me, he is the greatest dad ever, just ask my kids!
So Happy Father's Day Glade! I love you! Thanks for being wonderful in every way!
Two Celebrations, One Day!
It's Father's Day Today!
It's also my mom's birthday!
If she were still here, she'd be 91
Last September, She packed her things and traveled home.
It was the saddest day ever!
I miss her!!!
It feels appropriate that these two should be one on this day.
I can't help but miss these two! My dad was a happy gregarious, outgoing guy who was always optomistic. My mom was the work behind the force, the doer, the person you could always count on. She was the person who loved me like no other.
Everything I am today I owe to these two great people!
Thanks Mom and Dad!
Thankyou for raising me right! Happy Celebrations to you Both!

Happy Birthday To A Special Girl!
I'm behind again in my blogging... as usual.
But the cutest girl had a birthday!
She's first in the line up. Yes, Uno numero!
She's number 1.......
And she is indeed all girl, 100 percent, and then some.
She loves pink,
She loves, heels,
She loves to paint her nails,
She loves everything and anything about being a girl!
Which means she loves talking on the phone!
And she was so excited,
She got an iPod for her birthday.
On our lunch date she told me all about school,
the boys who bug her to death, how she won't like just one of them (smart girl!)
We always have a picture in the butterfly chair.
Because we always have lunch at the same place!
Because it's the funnest place evAr!
We talked and giggled and had a blast. Then we went shopping and she knew just what she wanted. It was a fun date.
Kater Tot, Nanners loves you. You are so precious to me! Grandpa loves you too. This whole crazy family loves you. You are bright and talented and good through and through! And now you are even big enough to get on the blog and read this yourself. In fact I'll email you this post. Because now you even have your own email. How crazy is that?
And I have one thing left to say to you. STOP growing so fast! My goodness, you've got to slow down! Cause when you grow, I grow, and like Winnie The Pooh said, "If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred minus one day. So I never have to live without you!" You'll be my best friend forever, pinky swear! And always remember, no one loves you the way your Nana loves you! Happy Birthday cute adorable girl! I love you!!! Hugs grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and a few kisses too.
