2010 Annual Crowther Golf Scramble Woot! Woot!

Thanks to Gage and Missy, we now have another fun on going tradition, "The Anual Crowther Golf Tournament." This year we had to 'scramble' to get it on the August schedule, but Gage and Missy persevered and we made it! Eagle Mt. is always our course of choice. (Every year they run a cheap deal for families and we take advantage of it.) This year was a blast as usual!

As we line up there is always lots of heckling off the first tee.
The plan is to make everyone so nervous they can't hit the ball!
It usually works!

The kids love this night for about the first four holes.
After that they finally figure out that no one
is ever going to let them swing.

Everybody hopes they can draw out Craig for a partner.

He's a really good golfer!
You can see Corbs cheering for him in the background.

Emy must be having a good game, she's got a big smile on her face!
Either that or she's really happy she's finally on the green!

Jace is an adopted Crowther child. Every year we invite him to join in.
He's Orphan Boy! We can't golf without our orphan boy!

Now if only Gavin swung as good as he dresses! Hahahahah

Who's that speeding by to the next hole?

It's Haley and Seth!
Spencer has to tell them which way to go.

These kids are having a serious conversation,
It went something like this,
"How come they get to have all the fun?"
"Ya, this is a rip off!"

Anna takes the wheel!
"If I can't golf, I"ll drive the cart"
She's no dummy!

Never underestimate the power of a woman on the team!

Right girls?

Spencer and Ali decided to ride with the fun people!
Spencer deducted early on in the game,

"They're golfing sucks,

but at least they're really, really fun!" hahahahah

We tried to keep an eye on the teams ahead of us.

You know, in case there was any cheating going on.

Gavin was on my team
so he got lots of pictures taken of his pro like game.

"Don't worry Mother, we're losing!"
I'm pretty sure that's what she said?

The kids decided they'd golf with the sticks since no one
would hand them a club!
Corbin is still perplexed over how come the kids
have to watch the adults have fun.
He's thinking,
"Isn't it suppose to be the other way around?"

The littlest driver! Look out!

Everyone waits for Gage to putt.
I notice he's not all that close to the hole.

"Is this your third putt Gage or your fourth?"
(Snicker, snicker)

Spencer has taken up golf for reals.
Don't let his pint size body frame fool you.

Next year there are going to be some people
who want to trade in their partner

for this kid!

The night was so much fun!
And Caroline's cute smile proves it!

Everybody had a good time.

And the weather was perfect. Just like Ali, sunny and bright!

Craig is going for the distance! Man can he ever whack the ball!

Gavin had to yell at Man With A Drill several times to
"Get off the phone!"

"Dad, no talking on the phone while I'm putting!"

I think that's what Gavin kept saying!

We finally took the phone away from him!

Kate makes a good caddy!

My team members! We rocked till the end,
Then we fell apart.

Kyle sizes up the putt!

Craig gives instructions to his riders.
"Now listen folks, we've got to win!"

Ali has a new place she'd like to T-up the ball. Hee hee

After figuring up all the scores we decided Goose was pretty smart,

Caitlyn plays for Weber State, and man is she ever good!

After watching her Golf, all the men were complaining,
"Next year can we bring dates and leave our wives home?"

Fun night family of mine! Can't wait until next year rolls around again!
