Des got asked to Prom.
When she put on her pink tennis shoes, I gasped,
"Really, I said. "You're wearing those?"
She just smiled and said,
"I'm going to have fun and be comfortable, mom!"

Jorge is Deserey's best friend.
He is the greatest kid!
Out of all the young men who have wandered in and out of my house,
He is a cut above the rest. So much integrity in this young man!
And he's fun too!
He was even willing to let me torture him with my camera!
