The Music Of Opportunity
Recently a friend of mine posted this on her Facebook. It's a clip of Patrick Hughes who is a young man at Univ. of Louisville who was born blind and crippled and yet now plays the piano beautifully as well as "marches" in the Louisville marching band. This was a piece done during ESPN College Gameday on 12/2/2006. The clip is touching and inspirational.

Pretty amazing, makes me wonder why I ever complain.
I got to see this family get a new home on the home make over show (Feb or 08). It was so cool. The designed Patrick his own living space and the house was so he could move around. It was the coolest episode ever. Made me cry then and this clip made me cry when it said the dad worked nights. Inspiration in it's fullest!
