The Grandkiddie Party

One of the greatest things I do a few days prior to Christmas (December 16th was the day this year) is have a party just for my Grandkids. It's a sleep over if your three years of age or older. We fudged and let Baylee sleep over this year. Well, she thinks she's as old as Eden and Anna, so why not.

The kids love it. The parents love it. It's a win, win for everyone! Mom and dad can take a breath and get some Christmas wrapping done and Man with a drill and I get to have fun with our grandkids.

Des is a big part of the grandkid party too. She is the Master Entertainer, she is our stamina and when grams and gramps get a little worn out she is our source of go to energy.

Little Caleb wasn't sure how he felt about his first ever grandkid party. He slept through most of it, but then Kaedell tortured him by waking him up to put his brand new, cutest ever Christmas jammies on!

You can never have to many presents to open at the grandkiddie party! This party is in fact ---all about ribbons and bows and you can never unwrap to many presents.

Smut and Uglies comes in real handy for this occasion. You can get lots of junk for practically next to nothing and all and kids love unwrapping junk! After all, you can never get to much junk for Christmas!

And besides having way too much fun with trains, gifts, and what not, we play Christmas Bingo.

Eden demands that all her playing pieces are chocolate. Eden loves chocolate more than any kid I know. Just look at her pile of candy.

Baylee really liked eating a piece of candy every time she placed a piece of candy on her bingo page.

Besides all that candy, how about a little pop to go with it. That's another thing you can never have to much of as a kid. S U G A R! I'm the candy connoisseur so believe me, there's plenty of sugar at this party.

Des is the best Bingo Show Host ever! She makes sure every kid wins.

After Bingo, the kids loved it when we turned the lights out and watched the Christmas train go round and round.

All in all it was a spectacular night.

Even if little Caleb was a little unsure about it all.
